School-Wide Trauma Awareness and the Impact on the Relational Health of a School Climate

This poster summarizes my research on how a school-wide approach to understanding and addressing trauma positively impacts the relational health of a school climate. Major themes in the literature are discussed along with recommendations for schools to successfully and sustainably implement trauma-informed practices to better support all school stakeholders. Trauma is a prevalent issue facing schools today and should not be ignored.
